Plateau North Celebrates Hon Pam Bot-Mang As APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Plateau State

JOS – Bigwigs of Plateau All Progressive Congress (APC) Alh. Saleh Zazzaga, at a reception held at Bukuru Mini Stadium Jos South, in honour of Hon Pam Bot-Mang as APC Deputy Governorship candidate Plateau State.

Plateau Northern Zone - Sons and daughters of Berom Nation have celebrated one of their own, Hon Pam Bot-Mang, as the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Plateau State.

In an interview with the JOS – Bigwigs of Plateau All Progressive Congress (APC) Alh. Saleh Zazzaga, at a reception held in honour of Hon Pam Bot-Mang as APC Deputy Governorship candidate Plateau State, noted that the selection of Hon. Pam Bot-Mang as Deputy Governorship Candidate from Plateau North was a right step, expressing optimism that, he would justify the confidence reposed in him.
Alh. Saleh Zazzaga, described the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate as “a brother and friend” commending him for his forthrightness, adding that, he was confident in the choice of Hon. Pam Bot-Mang, who according to him, would assist the standard-bearer in taking the State to a greater pedestal.

The APC Bigwigs Alh. Saleh Zazzaga urged the youths to join hands with the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, who has realistic and youths oriented programmes to improve the standard of living of the citizens.
Earlier, the Plateau State APC Chairman Hon. Rufus Bature, welcoming the party stakeholders said: Plateau State belongs to all of us, hence the need for everybody to be concerned with the affairs of the state. Whatever we can do to make this state better we will join hands and do it.
The ground reception in honor of Hon Pam Bot-Mang hosted by the Executive Chairman of Jos South LGA who double as 2023 Candidate, Jos South/East federal Constituency Hon. Amb. Gideon Dung Davou Dandereng.
Amb. Gideon, hinted that his so happy as the nomination came from his local government, he therefore appreciated the party and all the stakeholders in the Plateau North, "even by our faith, anything good that happen to you, your support to call for a thanksgiving" he said.
Jos South/East federal Constituency is one and everyone in every part is yearning for a change, with Hon. Amb. Gideon Dung Davou Dandereng, the journey is getting sweeter and better as the time to serve the people at the Green Chamber draws nearer, Jos South/East want to move away from its present position and become a federal Constituency that works for its citizens, Amb. Gideon added.
Responding, the Deputy Governorship Candidate Hon Pam Bot-Mang, appreciated the Berom nation for supporting him saying he will not disappoint the Berom nation and the people of Plateau State if entrusted with the mandate.
The Plateau State All Progressives Congress APC Governorship Candidate and Captain of the Generation next movement, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, explained that Pam Bot-Mang was not picked as the running mate because he is Berom from Jos South but because of his track record of integrity, self reliance, humility and magnanimity.
Dr Nentawe Yilwatda has pledged to end tribalism and unite all Plateau tribes together for the development of the state if elected Governor come 2023, “I want to be a Governor of Plateau State not a Governor of my tribe, from 1991 to date what has divided Plateau State is tribalism and if elected Governor we will end tribalism, our focus will be Plateau State only, and we will redeem our image as United People”
According to him, he will run a free, fair and all-inclusive government, where Plateau youths will be engaged, and empowered to become economically self-reliant if given the mandate.
The event began in the morning with turn out of supporters defying the downpour at the Gwom Rwey's Palace of Gyel, Jos South LGA, as the welcomed the entourage.
Also, the BECO President, Da. Gyang Dudu, responded on behalf of the groups said the Berom people are accommodative and hospitable and urged them to manage the ethnic and religious diversity in the state.
