WHY IS JOSHUA DARIYE QUIET OVER SACK OF BENARD?



Senator Joshua Dariye is a well respected son of Bokkos and has benefitted immensely from the support given to him by the good indigenes which helped in making him a two term governor and two term senator. 

Dariye waded into many negative issues affecting Bokkos to secure its freedom and rights. 
On this premise, the people listen to him whenever he speaks.

Dariye campaigned for the PDP during the governorship elections where so many indigenes raised questions over his support for Jonah Jang's protégé, Caleb Mutfwang, expressing fear that there could be a repeat of victimization against Bokkos as was the case in 2008 when Jang closed down Plateau State University Bokkos, and refused to complete the General Hospital and the fertilizer blending plant. Thereby making them moribund. 

Dariye did not hesitate to give assurance that nothing of such would happen, but now it has happened by the removal of Professor Benard, son of the soil, from being the Vice Chancellor and replaced with Professor Shadrach Best kinsman of the governor, and he is quiet about it. 

His action is getting us believe the rumour making the rounds that he was behind the removal of all heads of Plateau tertiary institutions and also working assiduously to hamstring the swearing in of the sixteen House of Assembly members-elect and the recall of all the National Assembly members. 

The reason behind his actions as alleged was to cajole the offended into supporting his political course in 2027 against Jang's dynasty. 
Dariye should open up and let the people know where he stands on Benard's case because he lured Bokkos into voting Mutfwang with the promise that PDP will not hurt the LG again.

The court fixed the date for witnesses to be called on the matter against the accused person after assuming jurisdiction to hear the case. Earlier, the Counsel to Mrs. Dorothy Bassi, had filed a Preliminary Objection (PO) challenging the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter citing the non-signing of the Particulars to the complaint by the complainant. Gov. Mutfwang Extends Teachers Retirement Age

By: Labaran Ahmed "The Time is Now" mantra of his Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has graciously approved the extension of retirement age for teachers and School Administrators. The State Governor made this known through his Commissioner for secondary education, Hon. Muhammad S. Nyalun, on Thursday 5th Oct. during the celebration of world teacher's day, held at Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos. Com. S. Nyalun said, " His Excellency has graciously approved the extension of the retirement age for teachers and School administrators from the age of 60 to 65 years and 35 to 40 years respectively with effect from the 1st October 2023". According to him, "the rational behind the extension is for the experienced hands to go back to the classroom to teach and mentor the younger ones even after service in various administrative position".
