The Ron Humanitarian Foundation has launched a significant initiative aimed at improving the well-being of Plateau State's children by offering free medical services and distributing exercise books to students in both public and private schools across the state. This initiative is part of the Foundation's broader Life-Changing Healthcare Initiative.
Hon. Samuel Kasuwa, the founder of the Foundation, expressed that his mission is to enhance the health and future prospects of children in Plateau State and Nigeria at large, fostering a better society for everyone.
"Plateau is undergoing a wave of positive change in healthcare accessibility, thanks to the Free Medical Outreach program sponsored by Ron Humanitarian Foundation," said Kasuwa.
The Ron Humanitarian Foundation is dedicated to delivering high-quality, free medical care to vulnerable children across the state. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity.
The ongoing outreach currently focuses on malaria prevention and treatment. Children in Gangare community, Jos North LGA, are receiving essential medications from a dedicated team of nurses. The program offers a broad spectrum of services, including general consultations, surgeries, gynecological and pediatric care, orthopedic and eye treatments, dental services, and the free distribution of vital medications.
A special emphasis is placed on offering inclusive support to orphanages and vulnerable children, ensuring no child is left behind.
At Gangare Primary School, Head Teacher Mary Usman highlighted the impact of the Foundation’s compassion. She expressed gratitude, saying, "The beneficiaries are overjoyed with the gesture, and we pray for God’s blessings on the Ron Humanitarian Foundation for bringing smiles to the children’s faces, especially those who can’t afford to buy writing materials."
Usman further emphasized that the distribution of exercise books underscores Hon. Samuel Kasuwa’s commitment to humanitarian work, earning him admiration as a compassionate leader dedicated to improving the lives of Plateau’s children.
Pupils across Plateau State are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of this free medical outreach and exercise book distribution. All services are completely free, and the program is designed to restore health and renew hope in the lives of residents throughout the state.
In separate interviews, Mrs. Mariam Haruna and Mrs. Haruna Safari expressed their appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts to assist vulnerable children in the area. "The free medical outreach has touched the lives of so many children. We thank God for blessing Hon. Kasuwa and his Foundation, and we pray for continued success," they said.
The community also urged the public to support the pupils, particularly as schools are resuming and many parents are struggling to afford essential materials like exercise books.
The outreach also includes the distribution of malaria medications such as anti-malarial drugs, 6bye 24, and PCM tablets. These medicines aim to reduce the impact of malaria and other preventable diseases, protecting the children from health risks.
Parents are advised to ensure that their children are sleeping under mosquito nets and administering the prescribed medications to help prevent malaria infections.
