Prophet Samuel Kasuwa, Founder of the Ron Humanitarian Foundation and Empowerment Scheme, has been conferred with a distinguished award of honour for Humanitarian Excellence and Business Leadership by the Ronkulere Student Past Leaders Forum.

The award ceremony, held at the Ron Humanitarian Foundation office in Rayfield, Jos, brought together esteemed leaders, community members, and distinguished guests from within and beyond the Ron ethnic nationality.
Representing the former Secretary-General of Nigerians Living in Diaspora, Dr. Mapuye (Grenada), the convener extolled Kasuwa’s humanitarian contributions, describing him as a beacon of hope whose initiatives inspire both the younger generation and communities far beyond Plateau State.

“What attracted us to present this prestigious award to Prophet Kasuwa is his outstanding humanitarian service and entrepreneurial achievements,” Dr. Mapuye remarked.
The Forum, in its citation, highlighted Kasuwa’s many interventions through the Ron Humanitarian Foundation, which include:

Settlement of hospital bills for patients in Cottage Hospital and other health facilities.

Distribution of relief materials to widows, orphans, and other vulnerable groups.

Free medical outreaches across Plateau State.

Educational support through the provision of exercise books and school supplies to students in both public and private schools.

Recently, Kasuwa also received commendation in Bokkos Local Government for his positive impact on his immediate community, further cementing his reputation as a worthy son of the Ron nation. The Forum urged other sons and daughters of the land to emulate his noble example.

Dr. Mapuye emphasized that leaders like Samuel Kasuwa are rare, noting:

“Only a few leaders inspire the younger generation the way Prophet Kasuwa does. His commitment deserves both spiritual and financial support. Even many political office holders cannot match his compassion and generosity.”

The Forum commended him for continuing to touch lives through humanitarian outreach, stressing that his commitment is not politically motivated but driven solely by his passion for humanity.

In his heartfelt acceptance speech, Prophet Kasuwa recalled his humble beginnings as an orphan, sharing how education and faith shaped his journey to success. He underscored the importance of giving back to society and uplifting the less privileged:

“Wherever you are, there are people in need. With God’s help, I am committed to supporting them—financially, morally, and spiritually.”

He further encouraged the outgoing student union leaders to boldly seek assistance whenever necessary, while reminding them that only God truly knows the heart of man.

On behalf of the Foundation, a staff representative expressed gratitude to the Forum for honouring Prophet Kasuwa, affirming that the Foundation’s growth and diversification are inspired by God’s guidance. The mission, he reiterated, remains to serve the poor and needy with compassion and dignity.

The event concluded with group photographs, as members of the Ronkulere Student Past Leaders Forum joined Prophet Kasuwa and his team in celebrating his remarkable humanitarian impact.
