In a bold move to consolidate grassroots strength and reposition the All Progressives Congress (APC) for total victory, the APC candidate for Langtang North-Central State Constituency, Chief Nandir Lar, on Monday convened a strategic unity meeting with 243 ward executives from the nine wards of Langtang North-Central.
The high-level meeting, which also had in attendance 18 party representatives from Langtang North Local Government Area, held at the Binchak Annex Event Centre, Kangkur, on October 12, 2026.
Addressing the party faithful, Hon. Lar, who is the leader of the Jagoran Talakawa Movement, charged leaders, stakeholders and supporters to put behind them all differences arising from the party primaries and embrace genuine reconciliation.
She noted that unity, cooperation and a shared sense of purpose remain the only path to achieving the APC's 5/5 victory target in the 2027 general elections.
"For us to win convincingly in 2027, we must first put our house in order. We must reconcile, we must forgive one another and we must work with one goal. Our strength is in our unity at the grassroots," Lar told the gathering.
Hon. Lar reaffirmed that her political movement, Jagoran Talakawa, is anchored on people-first leadership, stressing that true politics must go beyond elections to address the welfare, needs and development of the ordinary people of Langtang North-Central.
The meeting, described by many as a masterstroke in grassroots mobilization, drew commendation for its large turnout and organizational depth.

Hon. Lar specially appreciated the Langtang North LGA APC Chairman, Hon. Selbol Jangbut; the Langtang North-Central Constituency Liaison Officer, Hon. Kargwak Gabriel (popularly known as Bro); and the Deputy Chairman of Langtang North LGA, Hon. Deborah Dalen, for their solidarity and presence.

She also lauded party stakeholders, ward executives, loyal supporters and representatives of the Traditional Council for their commitment to strengthening the party.

She urged members to sustain the tempo of mobilization and reconciliation from the polling units to the national level, with a clear focus on delivering victory for the APC in the Presidential, Governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections in 2027.

The meeting ended with a renewed pledge by all wards to work in unison under the APC 5/5 vision.
