Stakeholders Persuades Dakum to Return to APC

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman Bokkos LGA chapter, Mr. Danjuma Mabas, through his spokesman Dabang Dashe has persuaded the Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Human Virology Nigeria IHVN, and Plateau State Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, Professor Patrick Sunday Dakum, to return to his former party (APC).
Mabas who confided in our reporter said, Dakum should heed to the call and visit by the reconciliation team led by Rt. Hon. Idris Maje, the member representing Wase Federal Constituency, which met him in early last year seeking his return to their party; adding that APC is his home and has a political future in it.
He lamented that Dakum has sacrificed so much for the party and formed a formidable structure, but fled to Labour Party.
According to him 70% of Dakum's supporters in Plateau are in the APC and not LP or the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. And that he (Mabas) and his team will meet Dakum and persuade him to return.
Mabas further, praised the APC saying it is the pride of Plateau as it attracted more dividends of democracy than any other party in the state some of which are; Federal Polytechnic Nyak in Shendam, Federal University of Education Pankshin, construction of dual carriage from Akwanga to Gombe featured in the 2025 budget, Federal University of Geo Sciences/Mining which is on the process, Federal Medical Centre Wase, Nigeria Open University Wase, and so many others to numerous to mention.
With the patriotism, ingenuity, forward-looking and hardworking of Dakum Mabas went on, he (Dakum) should return to APC and join hands with dividend zealots to progress Plateau and the entire country, be begged.
