Bassa/Jos North To Smile Soon, As Reps Member Hon. Amb. Asama Activity Engages Govt./Foreign Investors For Vocational & Technological Advancement For His Constituency; Sponsors Bills for the Creation of the Vocational & Entrepreneurship Institute, Jos

Better days are apparently underway for the people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, as their Reps Member Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama has held a meetings with Government and key Stakeholders to secure meaningful partnerships with Industry Leaders and Foreign investors, as part of his commitment to invest in human capital to put Bassa/Jos North youths in good stead to respond to the fast-changing need of the 21st century and to effectivity contribute to the economy.


In a press statement signed by Brian Lang, Director of Media for Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Ago (The Anki Kaboh), Member, House of Representatives, Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, Abuja maintained that in line with this vision, Hon. Asama has introduced an Establishment Bill at the National Assembly seeking the creation of the Vocational and Entrepreneurship Institute, Jos.


He further buttressed that this institute will serve as a pivotal center for training, harnessing, and networking the skills of the youth, equipping them with the necessary expertise to thrive in the evolving global economy. Brian asserted that beyond legislative action, Hon. Asama is actively engaging the government and key stakeholders to secure meaningful partnerships with industry leaders and foreign investors.


Explaining further, Brian asserted that Hon. Amb. Asama’s efforts are particularly focused on attracting expatriate investors with the capacity to create significant opportunities in the creative, technological, and production sectors for his people.

He further buttressed that to demonstrate this commitment, His Excellency, the Taiwan Ambassador to Nigeria, Andy Yih-Ping Liu, recently paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Asama’s office at the National Assembly. 

During this high-level engagement, discussions were held regarding a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration in Technological Innovation and Trade.

He maintained that the deliberations also explored opportunities for constituents to travel and engage in vocational and business collaborations with Taiwan, opening doors for knowledge exchange, investment, and economic growth. Hon. Asama firmly believes that these strategic initiatives will not only empower the youth but also position Bassa/Jos North as a key player in Nigeria’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape. 

He remains dedicated to working tirelessly to ensure that his people benefit from these global opportunities. Indeed, “Better days are underway. God Leads, We Follow!” the lawmaker posited.
