One Year Anniversary: Reps Member, Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Releases Lives Touching Achievements In A Message Of Gratitude and Commitment

In his message of gratitude and commitment amongst the lawmakers who have been meeting the expectations of their constituents in just one year in office, the member representing the good people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and Deputy Chairman, House Standing Committees on Small Arms and Light Weapons, Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Ago (Anki Kaboh) releases achievements made under his dispensation as a member in a Green Chamber which portrait his shoulder high, his core mandate is serving as the voice and defender of the good people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency and contributing to the national discourse that shapes the future of our great nation, Nigeria at large.
A statement he made available to Global News reads in part, "This journey has been one of responsibility, dedication, and relentless service. It is a journey we embarked on together in February, 2024, and every achievement recorded within this one year is a testament to the collective efforts of the people—Our supporters, Stakeholders, Party Leaders, Youth, Women, Religious bodies, Traditional institutions, Community leaders, and everyone who believed in this movement from the very beginning.
"I stand before you, deeply humbled and filled with gratitude for your prayers, encouragement, and undiluted support. Through the Grace of God Almighty, we have set a record-breaking pace of representation, towards fulfilling our campaign promises and prioritizing the welfare of our constituents".
Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama determined to leave his footprints permanently on the sands of time, with his One Year Achievements as member representing the people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency.
"In just one year, we have worked tirelessly, ensuring that every segment of our constituency feels the impact of purposeful representation. Though we have rolled out activities earlier during our first Town Hall Meeting in Jos North, may I once again utilize this opportunity to highlight the following accomplishments:
.1. Introduction of 9 Bills aimed at addressing pressing National and Constituency concerns.
2. Active engagement in 14 National Assembly Committees, ensuring that the voice of our people is well represented in key Legislative processes.
3. Raising Three (3) major matters of Public importance on: Community Policing, Incessant fire outbreaks on Katako Market of Jos North, and the heartbreaking school building collapse in Jos North.
4. Distribution of food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to alleviate the hardship faced by our vulnerable citizens.
5. Seed funding for 200 market women, empowering small businesses and improving economic sustainability.
6. Provision of fertilizers to farmers, boosting agricultural productivity and food security.
7. Donation of sewing machines and grinding machines to constituents, enhancing skill acquisition and self-reliance.
8. Distribution of reading tables, writing materials, school bags, and sandals to vulnerable pupils, promoting education at the grassroots level.
9. Payment of WAEC & NECO fees for 600 students, reducing the financial burden on parents and ensuring brighter futures for our young minds.
10. Providing international exposure for 40 football talents, opening doors of opportunity for our youth in global sports.
11. Strengthening community security by networking the Community Police, Hunters, and Vigilante Groups, thereby improving safety across our communities.
12. Construction of classroom blocks in Rukuba, fostering better learning environments for students.
13. Facilitating employment opportunities for youths into the Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Police Force, and Nigerian Army.
14. Creating employment networking channels for youths into the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps, Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, and Nigeria Correctional Service.
"As we anticipate the 2025 budget, we are prepared to roll out more impactful projects and interventions. We remain committed to Job Creation, Empowerment, Education, Security, Health, and Infrastructure development across our Constituency.
