Reps Member Hon. Amb. Asama Commends President Tinubu for Signed (NCDC) Bill into Law

The Member representing the good people of Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman Committee on Small Arms and Light Weapons, Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Ago (The Anki Kaboh), commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) Bill into law.

Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Ago, gave the commendation in a statement signed by his Media Director Mr Brian Lang on Wednesday appreciated Mr. President for signing the bill into law, according to him, the President action confirming his Renewed Hope Agenda for the Nigerian masses.

This devolopement signified the dawn of a new era of progress that would impact positively in growing the economy and infrastructural devolopement of the North-central geopolitical zone, Hon Daniel Asama appreciate President Tinubu for his vision and leadership.

The statement also maintained that, this historic development follows the bill’s successful passage by the 10th National Assembly and is set to propel the socio-economic transformation of the Region, which comprises Kogi, Niger, Benue, Kwara, Plateau, Nasarawa, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

"The establishment of the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) emphasizes President Tinubu’s commitment to balanced Regional development, aligning with his broader Renewed Hope Agenda.

"For years, the North-Central Region has faced a myriad of challenges, including infrastructural deficits, security concerns, and economic underdevelopment. With the formation of the NCDC, there is renewed optimism that critical issues such as security stabilization, agricultural revitalization, industrial growth, and youth empowerment will receive targeted intervention.

"The President’s Renewed Hope Agenda is strategically aligned with Nigeria’s Agenda 2050 and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2021-2025, which seek to accelerate National growth and inclusive development. With the signing of this bill, North-Central States and the FCT will now have a structured framework to drive large-scale development projects, attract investments, and enhance economic opportunities for millions of citizens.

"This marks a significant victory for stakeholders, States and communities in the Zone, who have long advocated for a commission to cater to the Region’s unique needs. The establishment of the NCDC is not just a step in the right direction; it is a bold statement that North-Central Nigeria is ready for transformation.

"Let the celebration begin as we anticipate a new chapter of growth and prosperity"!
