Ten MDAs Showcase Achievements of Gov. Mutfwang's Administration in Ongoing Plateau Ministerial Press Briefing

The Plateau State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Rt. Hon. Joyce Remnap, moderated a ministerial press briefing at the JD Gomwalk Secretariat in Jos, showcasing the achievements of Governor Caleb Mutfwang's administration. Ten ministries so far presented their scorecards, demonstrating the government's commitment to transparency, accountability, and service delivery.


Office of the Head of Civil Service: Settled outstanding salary arrears, pension and gratuity arrears, and implemented promotions under Mr. Stephen Pam Gadong.


Ministry of Commerce and Industry: Registered and regulated cooperative societies, conducted business premises registration, and provided training for SMEs, led by Hon. Muhammad Nyalum.


Ministry of Transport: Achieved air route development, mass transit services, digital automation of tricycles, and establishment of truck terminals under Hon. Jatau Gyang Davou.

Ministry of Lands and Survey: Streamlined certificate of occupancy process, implemented Land Use Charge, and set up a revenue generating committee, overseen by Barr. Nyam Peter.

Ministry of Youth and Sports: Mobilized 1,000 youths for PLA-YEAP, constructed a NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, and supported sports development, led by Hon. Musa Ashoms.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Development: Revitalized office spaces, modernized vehicles and equipment, enhanced road infrastructure, and acquired land for development under Hon. Sylvanus Dongtoe.

Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality: Revitalized tourism infrastructure and promoted cultural events, with notable achievements highlighted by Hon. Cornelius Dongnaan Doeyok.

Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Mineral Development: Implemented notable projects, including providing water tanks, developing the Wildlife Park, and the Acrisal Project, led by Hon. Peter Kanang.

Ministry of Works: Prioritized road rehabilitation efforts and infrastructure development, led by Hon. Ubandoma Joshua Laven.

The briefing include Science and Technology. The briefing demonstrates the government's commitment to transparency and accountability, showcasing achievements across various sectors. The event is expected to continue today, providing further insights into the administration's progress and future plans.
