The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Plateau State chapter has taken a significant step towards strengthening unity and cooperation by hosting a gathering of its coalition partners. The meeting, held at the party's secretariat in Jos, aimed to solidify the alliance and drive development in the state.
In her welcome address, ADC Plateau State Chairperson, Mrs. Hannatu Gagara, emphasized the party's commitment to unity and progress. She stated that the objective of the gathering was to formally welcome individuals to join the party and to strengthen ties with coalition partners.
"We're expecting more parties and individuals to join us, and we're thrilled to have already received interest from parties like the PRP," Mrs. Gagara said. "This momentum is exciting, and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next on the agenda."
The Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Michael Gulu, expressed his optimism about Nigeria's future, stating, "I firmly believe that 2027 will be a better year than this one. In the next six years, I envision Nigeria transforming into a better nation than it is today."
Keynote speakers at the gathering included Prince Pam Junior Rwang, Barrister Tony Omolowo, and Mr. Falope Abraham Oluwafemi. Prince Pam criticized the current state of governance in Nigeria, citing the country's struggles with security, economy, and infrastructure. He emphasized the need for consequences for actions and accountability in governance.

Mrs. Debora Falope, a youth leader, emphasized the need for youth inclusion in power and urged young people to take an active role in shaping the country's future. "We are here to say no to the silence. It's over. We need youth inclusion in power, and we are capable and ready to make a change," she said.
Mr. Falope Abraham Oluwafemi presented a keynote address on the motivation behind merger, highlighting the driving forces and strategic vision.
The gathering concluded with a call for unity, progress, and collective action to drive positive change in Plateau State and Nigeria.
