GROUP LAUDS PLATEAU FADAMA NG-CARES FOR EMPOWERING 15,000 CITIZENS

Plateau PDP Youth Alliance has praised the Plateau Fadama NG-CARES for empowering about 15,000 citizens with assorted fertilizer to boost agricultural activities in the state and improve yields this farming season.

The group Chairman, Mr James Davou, showered accolades and encomium on the Project Manager, Chief Gideon Dandam, for the commendable effort that ensured the gesture has gotten to the targeted beneficiaries in good time.

Beneficiaries of the fertilizer distribution, according to Davou, were  meticulously drawn from different strata of the society, with particular emphasis on persons with disabilities, vulnerable youth groups, widows and peasant farmers among others. Davou was full of praises to Fadama NGCARES for mooting the idea of reaching out to people at the grassroots, while obliterating the cankerous activities of middlemen in the fertilizer distribution.

"The efforts of Plateau Fadama NGCARES comes handy, especially now that the Mutfwang administration is committed to bolstering youth participation in farming activities in his efforts to empower the younger generations through agribusinesses" he said.

Other items distributed to farmers by Plateau Fadama NG-CARES include improved maize and rice varieties in order to boost food production. The distribution cuts across all state Wards in Plateau, without preference to political alliance or religious beliefs.
