Hon. AMB. Daniel Asama Ago Mourns the Death of Plateau State CAN Chairman, Very Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo
It is with deep sadness that I, AMB. Daniel Asama Ago, mourn the passing of the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Plateau State Chapter, Very Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo.
Fr. Lubo was a man of profound Faith, great humility, and dedication to the service of God and humanity. He worked tirelessly for the growth of the Church and the unity of the Christian body in Plateau State and beyond. His leadership within the Church and CAN was marked by integrity, peacebuilding, and commitment to righteousness.
We shared not just cordial relations but also memorable moments of mutual encouragement in the service of our people and our Faith. He was a father figure to many, a spiritual pillar, and a beacon of hope in challenging times. His sudden departure is a great loss, not just to the Church but to the entire Plateau community and the Nigerian Christian family at large.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Catholic Church, the Plateau State CAN community, his family, and all who are grieving this irreplaceable loss. While we mourn, we are comforted by the assurance that he now rests in the bosom of the Lord whom he served so diligently.
May his legacy of Faith, service, and compassion reflect and live on in those he led and mentored.
May his soul rest in perfect peace!
