In a significant development, Alhaji Yaro Mairake, Senior Special Assistant on Hausa Community Affairs to Governor Caleb Manasseh Muftwang, has pledged the unwavering support of the people of Jos North and the entire Hausa community for the governor's re-election bid in 2027.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Global News in Jos, Alhaji Mairake lauded Governor Muftwang's remarkable leadership and transformative initiatives, which have improved the lives of Plateau people. "As we mark the governor's successful two years in office, I wish to express our profound appreciation for his tireless efforts in transforming the lives of Plateau people," he said.
Alhaji Mairake highlighted the governor's achievements, including the rehabilitation of critical roads, impactful policies in healthcare, education, agriculture, transportation, and road construction. He also commended the governor's inclusive approach, which has given Muslims key positions in his government.
The Senior Special Assistant noted that the governor's gestures during Sallah celebrations, including the distribution of rice, oil, and rams, as well as sponsoring over 5,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, have endeared him to the Muslim community.
Alhaji Mairake expressed optimism about the governor's initiatives and looked forward to more developments in Jos North and Plateau State.
