The Mushere Chiefdom Development Association, Abuja and Environs, has thrown its weight behind Senator Joshua Dariye's bid for the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairmanship position. In a press statement dated July 22, 2025, signed by Chairman Amos Dalek and Chief Agabus Datukun Niskakham Jep Mushere, the association expressed its unwavering support for Senator Dariye's leadership.
The association believes Senator Dariye's proven track record and decades of experience in governance make him the ideal candidate to lead the party to success in 2027. With his background as Governor of Plateau State from 1999 to 2007 and Senator representing Plateau Central from 2011 to 2019, Senator Dariye has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills. His leadership style, often described as inclusive, has earned him the nickname "Head Boy." The association is convinced that his visionary approach can reposition the party for success nationwide.
As a unifying figure, Senator Dariye's candidacy has garnered support from various groups, including the CPC Forum, which praises his administrative expertise, academic background, philanthropy, peace-building efforts, and grassroots political acumen. The Mushere Chiefdom Development Association's endorsement further solidifies Senator Dariye's growing support base within the party.
