Kings & Queens Academy (KQA), Jos Celebrates Milestone Graduations

In a grand celebration of academic excellence, character, and achievement, Kings & Queens Academy (KQA), Jos, hosted its 2025 graduation ceremony at the Eliel Center (Gold and Base). The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of its students, who were recognized for their outstanding performance in Kindergarten, Elementary, Primary, and Secondary School.
The ceremony was graced by special guests, including the current House of Representatives member Hon. Vincent Venman Bulus, representing Langtang North/Langtang South Federal Constituency of Plateau State, Mr. Lamba Peter Bot, Mni Permanent Secretary with the Plateau State Government and Mr. James Okoye, who were welcomed with warm applause. The Head Teacher facilitated the presentation of character awards, highlighting the academy's commitment to nurturing academic excellence and character development.
As the ceremony progressed, students who consistently demonstrated excellent behavior, showed great responsibility, took initiative, and excelled in various areas were acknowledged and applauded for their hard work and dedication.
Honorable Vincent Venman Bulus, Member Representing Langtang North/Langtang South Federal Constituency of Plateau State, extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Principal, teachers, and staff of Kings & Queens Academy for the incredible work they are doing in shaping the minds of children. As a parent and a public figure, "I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and commitment of the school community to providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond academics. My five children are fortunate to be part of this esteemed institution, and I am grateful for the values and knowledge they are acquiring.
Honorable Vincent impressed by the school's initiative in launching its magazine, and he was honored to be part of this momentous occasion. He said, "I purchased copies of the magazine for my children and some of my entourage, and I must say, it was a worthwhile investment. I also expressed my gratitude to the school by making a significant contribution to support their efforts. I urge parents and guardians to partner with the school to ensure our children receive the best possible education. Congratulations to the school community on this achievement, and I look forward to continued collaboration and success."
On his part, Mr. Lamba Peter Bot, Mni said, "The graduation program is a testament to our children's cumulative efforts, from elementary school to secondary education. It's a celebration of their achievements and a reminder of the importance of hard work and dedication. As parents, it's crucial to guide them through life's challenges and instill values like hard work, character development, and integrity. The academy's focus on character development is commendable. By balancing academic performance with character development, we can raise individuals who are knowledgeable, morally upright, and responsible. This holistic approach to education will serve them well in navigating life's complexities and making a positive impact." Mr. Lamba's insights highlight the significance of a well-rounded education that fosters emotional intelligence, social skills, and physical expression, preparing students for success in all areas of life.
In an interview with the principal, Mrs. Lauris Oloba, she emphasized the academy's philosophy of producing students who excel not only academically but also in morals and character. She highlighted the importance of collaboration between parents and teachers in shaping students' behavior and instilling moral values. "Parental involvement is crucial in our students' development," Mrs. Oloba noted. "When parents and teachers work together, we can produce students who are not only academically excellent but also morally upright. We urge parents to join hands with us to bring up their children with strong moral values."
