Mrs. Hannatu Gagara, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Chairperson on the Plateau, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the 2025 Eid-al-Fitr celebration. This joyous occasion marks the end of Ramadan's month-long fasting period, a time of spiritual reflection, prayers, and supplications.

In her message, Mrs. Gagara acknowledged the significance of Eid-al-Fitr, which demonstrates love, sacrifice, and compassion towards the underprivileged. She encouraged all Muslim faithful and well-meaning Nigerians to seize this opportunity to intensify prayers for unity, peaceful coexistence, and patriotism, ultimately promoting national prosperity.

As the ADC Chairperson on the Plateau, Mrs. Gagara's message resonates with the party's values of promoting inclusion, diversity, and social justice. The ADC aims to consolidate Nigeria's democracy, ensuring a more egalitarian society.

The statement read: "Barka da sallah! It is my privilege to congratulate the Muslim Ummah on the 2025 Eid-al-Fitr celebration, which marks the end of Ramadan's month-long fasting period.

This joyous occasion follows a period of fasting, self-reflection, prayers, and supplications.

Eid-al-Fitr demonstrates love, sacrifice, and compassion towards the underprivileged, allowing for a period of solemn reflection, spiritual evaluation, and thanksgiving for divine guidance throughout the fasting period.

I encourage all Muslim faithful and well-meaning Nigerians to seize this opportunity to intensify prayers for unity, peaceful coexistence, and patriotism, ultimately promoting national prosperity.

As this period also marks Prophet Abraham's willingness and readiness to sacrifice his Son Isaac at God's request, I urge you to make sincere sacrifices for the unity, peace and progress of the Nation.

I further implore all Nigerians to remain steadfast in their pursuit of national unity, peace".

Signed: Plateau State ADC Chairperson Amb. Mrs Hannatu Gagara.
