"We're responsible for providing water and sanitation services to populations between 5,000 to 20,000 and all municipalities across the state. We're here today because His Excellency, the Governor, gave us a marching order to ensure people have access to water despite the significant investments in the sector. There's a strategy already in place to provide water for Jos North and Jos South, but the Governor wants to see results now, not next year".

"The issue is that our initial plan with the French Development Agency (AFD) won't yield results until next year due to certain protocols. However, the Governor has approved the use of unadvocated funds to provide a quick solution for the people of Jos North and Jos South. This move aims to ensure that the people of Jos North and Jos South have access to water without delay".

But now, with the governor's support, especially Governor Mutfwang in collaboration with the water resources team, led by Commissioner Hon. Bashir, we're grateful for this wonderful gesture.

"This project will bring immense relief to our community, and we appreciate the government's efforts. We're optimistic that this will improve our lives and provide a better future for our people".
