During his Friday sermon at the Y-junction mosque, Imam Muhammad Bajoga, who is also delivering Ramadan lectures at Alh. Musa Abdullahi Maigandu's mosque in Bukuru, Jos South, urged Muslims to capitalize on the blessings of the last ten days of Ramadan.

"Dear brothers in faith", Imam Muhammad Bajoga said, "let us intensify our prayers during these blessed days, seeking to encounter the 'Night of Power'. This special night is filled with abundant rewards and blessings. Let us surrender to Allah, purify our intentions, and strive to please Him. As Allah guides His servants, let us seek His blessings during this sacred period."

The Imam, stressed the importance of intensifying the spiritual efforts during this period, emphasizing the need for believers to increase their acts of worship and devotion.

Following the Friday prayer, our reporter spoke with Malam Mu'azu Sale, Imam of 'Massallacin Mai Kunu' in Anguwan Miango.

Al' Mu'azu Sale graciously elaborated on the sermon delivered by the Imam Muhammad Bajoga during the Friday congregation, providing deeper insights into the spiritual significance of the last ten days of Ramadan.

According to him, during the first ten days of Ramadan, people typically pray with great enthusiasm. However, as the month progresses, particularly around the midpoint and into the final ten days, dedication often begins to wane.

In response, Imam Muhammad Bajoga urged the faithful to renew their commitment during this critical period.

He also highlighted the significance of Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power, which commemorates the revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

This blessed night is believed to offer numerous spiritual benefits, including: Intense spiritual growth and forgiveness, Multiplication of prayers and good deeds in value, Opportunities for seeking forgiveness and mercy

To honor Laylat al-Qadr, Muslims often spend the night in prayer, reciting the Quran, and seeking forgiveness. Those who worship during this night are promised forgiveness for past sins and a significant increase in their spiritual rewards.
