Landmark Healthcare Bill Gets Boost from Asama's Leadership

Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Ago, the Member Representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, has taken a significant step towards revolutionizing healthcare delivery in Nigeria. 

This development was announced in a press release signed by Comr. Dave Boldmind, Special Assistant (Media) to Hon. Amb. Daniel says he sponsored the Federal Medical Centres Act (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (HB.2186), which has successfully passed its First Reading in the House of Representatives.

The bill aims to enhance the structure, funding, and efficiency of Federal Medical Centres (FMCs) across the country, ensuring that Nigerians especially in underserved communities have access to affordable, high-quality medical care. If passed into law, it will modernize healthcare infrastructure, improve medical personnel welfare, and expand service delivery to millions of citizens.

Demolition Of Shops At Kugiya Market In (Bukuru) Jos South, Affects Traders Appeals To Gov. Mutfwang For Intervention

Mutfwang to come to their rescue and prevail on Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB) to stop the current demolitions of Shops at Kugiya Market  in Bukuru metropolis. The affected traders decried that the demolition has caused the trader untold hardship and phycological confusion as their sources of livelihood are affected particularly at this period some nigerians are only existing but not living, dragging their soul along with them like worn out coat. The traders made the appeal in an interview with Global News during the demolition of Shops at Kugiya Market in Bukuru, Jos South local government of Plateau State on Saturday 11th of May, 2024.
