Landmark Healthcare Bill Gets Boost from Asama's Leadership

Hon. Amb. Daniel Asama Ago, the Member Representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, has taken a significant step towards revolutionizing healthcare delivery in Nigeria. 

This development was announced in a press release signed by Comr. Dave Boldmind, Special Assistant (Media) to Hon. Amb. Daniel says he sponsored the Federal Medical Centres Act (Amendment) Bill, 2025 (HB.2186), which has successfully passed its First Reading in the House of Representatives.

The bill aims to enhance the structure, funding, and efficiency of Federal Medical Centres (FMCs) across the country, ensuring that Nigerians especially in underserved communities have access to affordable, high-quality medical care.
